Move Fitness & Yoga

A Boutique Yoga Studio in Bluffton, SC

We strive to build and strengthen our community, one class and one breath at a time.

Hello!

I’m Karrie and I am the founder and owner of Move Fitness & Yoga here in Bluffton, SC. I first discovered yoga as a very stressed out elementary school teacher, navigating a bad breakup. Yoga helped me to manage my stress and anxiety, and helped me to strengthen as well as gain flexibility.

After teaching yoga for several years, I had an opportunity to open my own space to teach over on Red Cedar St. in 2018 and Move Fitness was born! Starting with just myself and 2 other instructors, offering just a handful of classes a week, I am beyond humbled to think of how far we have come! Move Fitness and Yoga now has a growing team of 12 instructors, offers more than 20 classes per week plus numerous workshops and events, and has evolved in our new space in Bluffton Village to offer aerial yoga.

Community has always been the heart of MFY, and creating and maintaining a clean, welcoming space is one of our utmost priorities. Our team will always encourage you to listen to your body and breath, and will offer you options to meet you  where you are, while providing extensions to keep you challenged.

While variety is the spice of life, it can also be true for your yoga practice! We regularly offer 10 different types of classes, with a number of classes throughout the community. Whether you are looking to try something new, work up a sweat in a Flow class, or completely let go in a passive Restore class, we have something for you!
