During this ceremony you will be guided on an insightful journey through Sound Alchemy & Guided Shamanic Meditation as we celebrate The Return of Light. This will be a uplifting & purifying ceremony, encouraging personal growth, as we create space for you to clear stagnant energy and shed old patterns.
The Ceremony: We will come together in ceremony, each setting an intention, acknowledging what we’d like to shed and what seeds we are ready to plant for the future. We will enjoy a cup of ceremonial grade cacao; a high vibrational chocolate from Guatemala, which creates a state of euphoria & clarity. Jessica will take you on a shamanic journey, opening up space within your subconscious to receive insights and clarity. The ceremony will also include various transformational sound elements to help guide you even deeper into your meditation. The energy around the Vernal Equinox is highly fertile, making it an ideal time to manifest dreams, start new projects, and nurture new ideas.
What is Ceremonial Cacao? It is 100% pure grade cacao. Planted, farmed & harvested with intention. Cocoa originates in the Amazon and in indigenous societies of Mexico, Central & South America. These cultures have used cacao as a food, a medicine, and a currency for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Cacao was highly valued to these ancient cultures and in fact Theobroma (the genius of Cacao) translates as ‘Food of the Gods.’ When ingested, it helps to trigger your ‘feel good’ hormones & endorphins, including dopamine, theobromine & anandamide. Cacao is known to increase blood flow to the brain up to 30-40%, supports higher cognitive functions and accentuates a loving and open heart presence. Please bring a mat to lay on. Blankets & bolsters are provided at the studio but please bring your own if you feel called to. Wear comfortable clothing. An eye cover is recommended (eye mask or scarf). For a more personalized cacao experience, you are invited to bring your favorite mug and it is highly advised you eat lightly and avoid caffeine 3-4 hours before the ceremony.
